Through the project Smarter Remmen ll (2014-2015), the NCE Smart Energy Markets cluster and Statsbygg developed a concept for measuring energy consumption and indoor climate via wireless meters and an app.

The project developed a prototype for a digital dashboard that could visualize the measured condition as well as feedback from the building’s users.

The goal of Smart remmen lll is to upscale the prototype to a full-scale demonstration, which will be tested in collabroation with Statsbygg and active participation of their employees.

Extensive data gathering and analysis built on artificial intelligence (developed by eSmart Systems) will create a comprehensive picture of a building operating in real-time. In addition, it will provide a foundation for engineering and rehabilitating buildings in the future.

Østfold University College, specifically Campus Remmen in Halden, will work as the project’s Living Lab, both theoretically and practically.
